Just as humans receive the benefits of Reiki’s relaxing and healing energy, animals can too. Every living thing is energy, and animals have chakras (energy centers) just like we do. This can be done in your home, as sometimes pets don’t feel comfortable being moved around or in a different atmosphere. Let your animal friends enjoy the relaxing and healing experience of a Reiki session.

Reiki is an effective form of complementary animal healing and when used alongside veterinary treatments can accelerate the healing process, ease pain, and improve, or help to continue, the animal’s quality of life.

How does an animal Reiki session work?

An animal Reiki session is a bit different from a human Reiki session. Many animals, especially shelter animals, are not comfortable being touched. Unlike massage, the practitioner does not have to touch the animal to offer a Reiki treatment.

To begin a session the animal is asked by the practitioner if they would like to have a Reiki session. If they are willing they are told that they can take as much or as little of the energy as they need.

• The session begins at a distance. The animal is allowed to come closer or stay at a distance.

• The animal ALWAYS controls the session and not the practitioner. Many times the animal will present the part of its body that needs attention to the practitioner, insisting that the hands be placed there.

• The average animal Reiki each session can last up to 1 hour (it’s your animal that decides the duration of a treatment) but each one does average about 30 minute An animal will usually let you know when they are finished with the session by waking up, being distracted, wanting to play or walking away.

• Because they won’t stay still for very long, so I treat them as long as they’ll tolerate the energy, softly touching them hands on or hands off.

REMOTE SESSION:

• I most commonly offer distant healing for your pets.I offer a remote session, in my office  so you can be present ,you need to  provide with a photograph and details of your pet , you can decide if you want to come to my office or send the picture by email- sometimes pets don’t feel comfortable being moved around or in a different atmosphere. As most pet owners will agree, many animals don’t like to travel.   Dogs are generally quite flexible, but cats, or small pets in cages, may be unnecessarily traumatized by the experience and, with very large animals, it just isn’t practical.

How Many Treatments?

The number of treatments needed depends on the animal, but for noticeable benefits 4-6 sessions are recommended in quick succession followed up by regular top up sessions or as and when needed.

Rates for Animals: YOUR BARN, HOUSE OR KENNEL,,REMOTE  SESSIONS:

$ 1.00  per minute

Minimum 30 Minutes session.

• Animals In Shelters/ Rescue Organizations:  Free

The cost includes traveling time up to a maximum of 5 miles  radius from the City of Orange ( Orange County) .If you live out of this area an small traveling fee of $0.51 per mile will apply.
